Do you want to contribute to educating the next generation of operations technicians in the energy, heating, and cooling industry?

We are now looking for an experienced educator to teach the course Control and Regulation Technology as part of a vocational higher education program for operations technicians.

About the Assignment

The course aims to provide students with knowledge of the technology and control systems used in power, heating, and cooling plants. The focus is on how control and regulation systems function, how plants are monitored, and how complex systems can be analyzed and troubleshooted.

The teaching will give students an understanding of:

• Industrial control and regulation systems
• The structure and function of control loops
• Safety systems in control and regulation technology
• Measurement and monitoring of level, pressure, and temperature
• PID controllers and various control strategies
• Control, regulation, and monitoring of combined heat and power (CHP) plants
• Interpretation of process, instrument, logic, and control diagrams
• Methods for controlling and monitoring energy plants
• Troubleshooting and analysis of control systems

The assignment includes planning, conducting teaching, developing relevant course material, as well as assessment and feedback to students.

We are looking for someone who

• Has documented competence in control and regulation technology
• Has experience from energy, process, industrial, or property-related operations
• Has a good understanding of industrial control systems and control technology solutions
• Can read and interpret process and instrument diagrams
• Has experience in teaching, education, or mentoring adult participants
• Communicates fluently in Swedish

It is an advantage if you have experience from combined heat and power, district heating, or district cooling plants, as well as previous experience teaching at a university college or other post-secondary education.

Scope and Format

• The assignment takes place during the autumn of 2026
• Teaching is conducted on-site in Södertälje
