Teacher in Natural Sciences (NO) for Grades 4–6

About the Position

At Malmö Friskola, we are looking for an engaged and qualified teacher in Natural Sciences (NO) to teach grades 4–6. As a teacher in NO, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching in accordance with the national curriculum. You will work both independently and collaboratively with your colleagues to create a safe, developmental, and stimulating learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities:

• Teach physics, chemistry, biology, and technology in grades 4–6.
• Plan and evaluate teaching based on students' needs and prerequisites.
• Assess and document students' knowledge development.
• Serve as a mentor for a student group.
• Collaborate with colleagues, student health services, and guardians.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach Natural Sciences (NO) for grades 4–6.
• Has strong pedagogical skills and clear leadership in the classroom.
• Builds good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• Works in a structured manner and has the ability to adapt teaching.
• Is engaged, creative, and solution-focused.
