Job Responsibilities
Do you want to make a difference?
For us, everything starts with the resident, based on their needs and conditions. We adapt our work to meet our clients and families where they are and when the need arises. Our operations are flexible and strive for high accessibility, both regarding working hours and interventions. This will involve evening and weekend work.
We are currently developing a position that involves working part-time as an SSPF Coordinator and part-time as a prevention worker in Älvkarleby Municipality.
We are looking for you who want to work in a shared role as an SSPF Coordinator and in prevention work.
SSPF is a collaboration model between schools, social services, police, and leisure activities. Its purpose is to detect and coordinate support early for children and young people at risk of developing criminality, harmful use, addiction, or other social problems. The work focuses primarily on young people in the early risk zone, before problems become serious or lead to extensive authority interventions.
Working as an SSPF Coordinator involves regular consultation between social services and police to assess which young people are a cause for concern. These are categorized based on risk level in a so-called "concern cylinder." Coordination involves inviting relevant actors, guardians, and sometimes the young person to meetings, as well as creating action plans for the individual. The role also includes convening the working group, leading meetings, and taking minutes. The function is also responsible for participating in steering group meetings and reporting the work to the steering group.
As a prevention worker, you work to strengthen the health, security, and living conditions of children, young people, and families through outreach and preventive work. The role involves building relationships with young people and their networks, collaborating with various actors, and planning and implementing activities, interventions, and projects for early support and increased security.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a degree in social work, behavioral science, social pedagogy, or another education that the employer considers equivalent.
You work relationally, solution-focused, and structured, with good ability to plan, execute, and take responsibility for your work. You are secure, professional, flexible, and can work both independently and in collaboration. An extract from the criminal record and suspicion register is required for the position.
Conditions
Valid ID and right to work in Sweden
To work in Älvkarleby Municipality, you must be able to show a valid ID document showing your citizenship. In some cases, you also need to show a document proving that you have the right to work in Sweden. If you are offered employment, you must be able to show one of the following:
- Passport
- Driver's license
- SIS-marked ID card together with a personal certificate showing citizenship
- Other valid ID document where citizenship is clearly stated
If you are a citizen of a country outside Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must also show that you have the right to work in Sweden (e.g., residence or work permit).
Mobilization for permanent employees
As a permanent employee in Älvkarleby Municipality, you are mobilized at your regular workplace.
