Montessoriskolan Floda Säteri is currently looking for an engaged and reliable childcare worker or Montessori educator for our idyllic facility in Stenkullen. The preschool consists of approximately 37 children divided into a younger and an older group.

Responsibilities

Act as a role model for the children by creating a caring, positive, inclusive, and secure environment.

Support the children in social interaction, empathy, conflict resolution, and cooperation.

Ensure that materials and the environment are complete, clean, and inviting.

Participate in teaching and, under the guidance of preschool teachers, carry out activities that promote the children's development.

Work in a team together with preschool teachers and maintain daily contact with guardians.

Be engaged and present in the children's play and activities, both indoors and outdoors.

Has a genuine commitment to children and children's learning.

Enjoys working at a sometimes fast pace and thrives in a task-focused environment.

Takes responsibility and sees the big picture, helps where needed, and focuses on solutions and opportunities.

Has high work ethics, is professional, structured, tidy, and reliable.

Has education/experience in Montessori pedagogy, or is curious about it and shares our values.

Wants to contribute to creating a secure, educational, and inspiring preschool environment together with colleagues.

Has a driver's license, speaks fluent Swedish, and understands the central role of language in children's development.

About the facility

Floda Säteri has a history of several hundred years, and for the last 30 years, the Montessori School has been housed in the premises. Our preschools are located in Stenkullen, Gråbo, and Lerum. Today, there are over 360 children from preschool to upper secondary school and 70 staff members. We are a facility with a high teacher-to-student ratio and very good conditions to give our children the start in life that all children deserve. With us, the children's interest, curiosity, and joy are the starting point for their learning. The work in the facility is characterized by a holistic view, and we work from a 1–16-year perspective.
