We are looking for a Medical Secretary at the Child and Adolescent Health Care in Gävle

Within child and adolescent health care, we receive children who need specialized medical care. Our operations cover both outpatient and inpatient care, focusing on general pediatrics and neonatal care.

At the child and adolescent clinic in Gävle, we see patients aged 0 to 17 years with pediatric medical issues requiring specialized care. Our specialties include a wide variety of diagnostic groups such as cardiology, neurology, rheumatology, oncology, endocrinology, asthma and allergies, as well as gastrointestinal diseases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a medical secretary with us, you play a key role in the administrative work surrounding our patients. The tasks are varied and rotate among team members, ensuring equal responsibility and providing a stimulating and dynamic work environment. We offer a structured daily routine where you have the opportunity to develop and contribute to efficient care flows.

As a medical secretary, you will work with:

• Medical record writing in Cosmic
• Diagnosis and procedure coding
• Handling referrals
• Some mail handling
