Svenska Fönster, part of DOVISTA, is now looking for a Payroll Generalist for our Sweden/Norway team in Edsbyn. Here, we work closely with the business and collaborate across borders with colleagues in Norway, Denmark, UK/Ireland, and other parts of DOVISTA.

We are in a development phase where we are implementing a new HR system and continuously developing our ways of working, including leveraging AI and automation.

Your Role

As a Payroll Generalist, you will work broadly within the payroll area for our Swedish and Norwegian companies. The role involves both payroll delivery and the development of working methods, where you contribute to strengthening quality, controls, and efficiency in the payroll process.

In addition to payroll preparation, you will work with:

• Quality assurance and controls in the payroll process
• Continuous improvement of processes and working methods, as well as system maintenance and quality assurance
• Development of automation and the use of AI/robot solutions within payroll and P&C processes

You will become part of a Payroll team of three people, where you jointly are responsible for execution, quality, and development. The role is part of the P&C function, and you will collaborate closely with colleagues within People & Culture in Sweden, Norway, and the rest of Region North. The team is in a phase where we are actively exploring how new technology, including AI and automation, can contribute to smarter working methods and a greater focus on value-creating tasks.

About You

You have experience in payroll work and thrive in a role that combines structure, responsibility, and collaboration.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A few years of experience in payroll administration and payroll systems
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field
• Good knowledge of Excel and Office 365
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English
• A positive attitude towards development and a willingness to continuously take on new experiences

Experience from system implementations is a merit.

As a person, you are meticulous and structured, with a clear focus on quality. You take responsibility for your work, see opportunities for improvement in processes, and actively contribute to developing working methods. You enjoy collaborating with others but are also self-driven and proactive in moving your tasks forward.
