Hököpinge School

Hököpinge School started its operations in August 2019. The first students, the class of children born in 2013, began then. The school has since been filled from the bottom up and grown by one grade level each year. This school year, the school consists of students from preschool class to grade 6. By the 2028/2029 school year, the school is planned to be fully expanded as a grades 0-9 school with space for 550 students.

Our school was completed in August 2023 when we moved into completely new, untouched premises.

Job Responsibilities

Do you want to help create a school where every student feels seen, heard, and inspired? We are looking for an engaged teacher who wants to help develop our educational activities and contribute to the construction of our future upper secondary level (grades 7-9). Together with us, you will build a school where relationships are the foundation for learning and development.

The position is approximately 75% and involves teaching our students in grades 4-7 in English and German during the upcoming school year. There is an opportunity to expand the position in the future, as our school grows and our upper secondary level is expanded with an additional grade level each year.

Together with your colleagues, you will stimulate student development by creating a meaningful and secure school day. You see opportunities in every student and actively work to build strong relationships with both students and guardians, which is crucial for a successful school career.

Qualifications

You are a certified primary school teacher with qualifications in English and German for teaching grades 4-9. As a pedagogue, you are responsible, engaged, and have a relational approach where the student is always at the center.

You meet every student with respect and see the individual's needs and conditions. You have a good understanding of the school's governing documents and can implement them in practice in a way that creates meaningful learning. With a solution-focused attitude and an analytical approach, you work systematically to achieve high results.

We are looking for someone who is creative, flexible, and easy to collaborate with. You have a professional and positive attitude towards colleagues, students, and guardians.
