We are seeking Preschool Teachers for a Fixed-Term Position

Härryda Municipality presents this consolidated advertisement for all our preschools in the municipality. In your application, please specify where you are interested in working.

There are 27 municipal preschools in Härryda Municipality. The preschools vary in size, with different numbers of departments and age groups. Several of the preschools are located near nature and forests, with outdoor yards adapted for creativity, learning, and play.

Your Role

As a preschool teacher with us, you lead, develop, and implement the pedagogical activities. You work to create a safe, stimulating, and educational environment where every child has the opportunity to develop based on their own needs, interests, and prerequisites.

You are responsible for translating the goals of the curriculum into practice, planning and documenting activities, and following up on children's learning and development together with your work team. Your work includes creating inclusive learning environments where children's creativity, curiosity, and desire to learn are valued.

Your role also involves being a secure adult and pedagogical leader who:

• Creates positive relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians.
• Plans and leads activities that promote learning, play, and social development.
• Reflects on and develops the activities together with colleagues.
• Contributes to systematic quality work through documentation and follow-up.
• Supports children in developing their independence, empathy, and ability to collaborate.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to help shape the preschool's culture, develop learning environments and pedagogical processes, and participate in joint development initiatives for the activities.

Requirements

• Licensed preschool teacher.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Ability to translate the curriculum into practice.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both oral and written.
• Basic digital competence.
