Do you want to help train the security engineers of the future within practical electricity and security technology?

We are now looking for an experienced educator for an upcoming vocational higher education assignment. This assignment suits you if you combine technical competence with a pedagogical commitment and thrive in a role where theory and practice meet.

The education is aimed at students within the security field and includes, among other things:

• Basic electrical theory and electrical safety
• Practical electrical installation and troubleshooting
• Installation and commissioning of security systems
• Intrusion alarms, fire alarms, and access control systems
• CCTV and surveillance systems
• Drawing reading and project understanding
• Risk assessment and safety work
• Documentation and traceability in installations

The teaching includes both theoretical and practical components where students work with realistic installations and security technical solutions. Essentially, we have built a society where no one is allowed to touch a cable without documentation in triplicate and the correct color on the folder.

• Have experience working within electrical, security, or installation technology
• Have good knowledge of practical electrical theory and electrical safety
• Have experience with alarm, access, or security systems
• Are accustomed to working with drawings, installations, and technical documentation
• Are pedagogical and confident in leading groups
• Have experience in teaching, supervision, or education (meritorious)
• Have relevant education within electricity, security, or technology

• Course start autumn 2026
• Teaching takes place on-site in Södertälje
