We are looking for an experienced Controller for a client in Stockholm. The assignment primarily involves financial management with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, and ongoing controller-related tasks within a public sector organization.

We are looking for you who have several years of experience in the field and the ability to work independently on qualified tasks. You are expected to have good competence and a relevant educational background, as well as the ability to take responsibility for your own area and, if necessary, lead smaller teams or support more junior colleagues.

Requirements:

• At least four years of experience as a Controller
• Good knowledge of Excel/MS Office
• Experience with analysis tools such as Power BI
• Experience with financial systems (e.g., Unit4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.)
• Experience in writing and compiling monitoring reports, such as monthly/quarterly reports
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Relevant academic education in economics
• Independent consultant with several years of experience in the field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in financial work and accounting within state operations
• Previous experience as a controller in a public authority

Other:

The candidate must be able to verify their experience through a relevant reference assignment carried out during the last two years. The assignment must be comparable to the current role.

The assignment offers some possibility of remote work in dialogue with the client.
