As an Operations Coordinator in the Umeå - Sundsvall - Sollefteå unit, you will be part of the unit's management group, which consists of nine section managers, one operations coordinator, and one unit manager.

Job Description

Your primary task will be to support the unit manager in daily work by preparing materials for business planning, follow-up, communication, and development. You are expected to take initiative, assume significant responsibility, and contribute to close collaboration with many contact areas within the unit as well as at the department level. Analytical skills and proactivity are key attributes.

Your pedagogical, clear, and empathetic communication style inspires others to engage and take responsibility, helping the unit achieve set goals in line with the overall vision.

The role involves close collaboration with the unit manager, the management group, and functions at the department level, so we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

This is a permanent full-time position, which may begin with a six-month probationary period. The location is Umeå, Sundsvall, or Sollefteå.

Basic Requirements for the Position

  • A university degree of 180 higher education credits (120 credits under the old system) or equivalent experience assessed by the employer as equivalent
  • Experience in business planning or operational management in a large organization
  • Experience working with goal and result follow-up
  • Experience with the agency's mission regarding digital employer services
  • Experience in strategic work in a leadership role
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish Public Employment Service's operations and at least one year of experience working at the agency

Additional Merits for the Position

  • Good knowledge of the Swedish Public Employment Service's framework programs and interventions
  • Worked as an Operations Coordinator or manager at the Swedish Public Employment Service
