ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant at approximately 45% for our client in Götene. Here you will have the opportunity to become an important part of the client's daily life and work in a meaningful and developing role.

The position is scheduled on alternating weekends from 07:00 - 19:00 and one weekday night from 19:00 - 07:00 with a wakeful night. There are good opportunities to work extra beyond this.

Start date is by agreement, and we would like you to be able to start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a happy and curious 7-year-old girl who gets around in a wheelchair and needs support in her daily life. As her personal assistant, you will become an important part of her team – you will help with transfers, dressing and undressing, tube feeding, and accompany her to her various leisure interests.

She enjoys being outdoors the most and likes to be in nature, spend time on the farm, discover new places, and be active. Bathing is also something she appreciates, so you need to feel comfortable being in the water and have no issues with chlorinated water.

At home, she lives with her family on a farm with several animals, which gives daily life a wonderful and lively environment. Therefore, it is important that you are not allergic to animals and enjoy a rural setting. Music is also something she loves very much, and she appreciates both fast-paced and cozy moments.

This autumn awaits a big and exciting step – starting school! There you will be her safe point, supporting her in the classroom, during recesses, and in all the new things school entails. This is a role for you who want to make a real difference and help create a safe, fun, and developing daily life.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for you who genuinely enjoy working with people and have the ability to see and understand the individual's needs. You preferably still have your inner child and appreciate stepping into a child's world – where you are involved in play, imagination, and what currently captures her interest.

You are pedagogical and perceptive, take initiative, and have a solution-focused approach. Engagement and presence are important in this role, and we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

REQUIREMENTS

• No fur animal allergies

• Driver's license and access to a car to commute to and from work

• No allergy to chlorinated water and comfortable participating in bathing

• Fluent Swedish skills in both speech and writing

Employment percentage: approx. 45%

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreement.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18 years of age, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so ordering should be done in good time.
