Individkraft is opening a new LSS group home for target group 2. We are now looking for engaged and secure employees who want to be involved from the start and contribute to shaping a business where quality, respect, and human encounters are at the center.

The role involves providing support and care to adults who have acquired brain injuries in adulthood and require care, structure, continuity, and long-term, relationship-based support. The focus is on creating safety in daily life and conditions for increased independence, participation, and quality of life.

The role includes among other things:

• Practical support and assistance to residents in daily routines, structure, and planning
• Working to build relationships and create security in daily work
• Providing motivating and practical support based on individual needs
• Collaborating with relatives, healthcare, and other societal actors
• Documenting according to current legislation and company routines
• Working from a low-affective and solution-focused approach

Since the operation is new, there is a unique opportunity to influence working methods, routines, and culture, as well as to help build a stable and sustainable operation from the ground up.

About You

We are looking for you who have a high school education in nursing, preferably with a focus on disabilities, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Alternatively, a post-secondary education within one of our areas of operation.

You should feel secure in your role and have at least 3 years of experience working with the target group. You should feel confident in handling problem-causing behavior. If you have skills in one or more of our activities, such as crafts, fitness, data/media, gaming, art, or music, this is a great merit.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in elderly care and/or have pedagogical education and training in communication, such as PECS (TAKK).

A key part of your work is social documentation. Therefore, it is necessary that you master Swedish well, both in speech and writing.
You feel comfortable working independently and can be flexible based on our participants' wishes and needs. You are unpretentious, curious, have a positive attitude, and enjoy collaborating. You thrive when there is a lot happening and are good at prioritizing. You need to have the ability to listen and put yourself in other people's situations and have good empathetic skills. You enjoy working in a structured, quality-conscious, and solution-focused manner based on each participant's individual needs.
