Toftaskolan is facing exciting developments as the school will become a dedicated 7–9 school starting from the autumn term of 2026. We work purposefully to create a safe, structured, and developmental learning environment where students' knowledge development is at the center.

We are now once again seeking a certified teacher in English for grades 7–9, as the position has become available again for the autumn term of 2026.

The position is a 100% temporary assignment for at least one academic year due to parental leave, with the possibility of extension.

WORK TASKS

Here, you will have the opportunity to work in an operation where the quality of teaching and students' knowledge development are in focus.

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on English teaching for grades 7–9. You create a clear and structured learning environment where students are given good conditions to develop their knowledge and reach as far as possible in their learning journey.

You work with high expectations, clear structure, and a conscious focus on student participation and learning.

You will become part of a work team where we value collaboration, professional dialogue, and a shared responsibility for students' development and learning. Through collegial learning, analysis, and joint reflection, we continuously develop teaching as part of the school's systematic quality work.

The position also includes shared mentorship together with a colleague. As a mentor, you follow students' knowledge development, support them in their study situation, and contribute to a safe, structured, and motivating school experience during the lower secondary school years.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach English in grades 7–9.

Experience of teaching at the lower secondary level is meritorious. You feel secure in your professional role and have a clear focus on students' learning, development, and goal achievement.
