ABOUT THE POSITION

At Aktiv Assistans, we are looking for two personal assistants for our client living approximately 30 minutes from Umeå. We are currently seeking two hourly substitutes who can cover for regular staff during sickness or leave. You will work evenings and awake nights on weekdays and weekends.

Working hours:

  • 15:30 - 21:30
  • 21:30 - 08:00

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is an active and energetic 10-year-old boy who likes tractors, puzzles, and being outdoors. He needs support in his daily life. He thrives best with a clear structure and requires close supervision and attention from his assistants. Communication uses visual aids, schedules, and simple, clear guidance.

We are looking for someone who is secure, attentive, and solution-oriented. A positive attitude and good personal chemistry are crucial for building a good relationship with the client. To contribute to his sense of security, we would prefer that you have a long-term commitment to your employment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Very good knowledge of the Swedish language
  • Category B driver's license + access to a car

MERITS

  • Experience working in personal assistance and/or other care experience
  • Experience with epilepsy
  • Experience with autism

Employment level: 2 hourly substitutes as needed.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of personal registration (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal registration from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
