We are looking for you who are ordained as a priest according to the Church of Sweden's order and long to help build the parish together with us. You are a wise priest and a present and clear leader who has a good ability to create structure and promote good working methods.

About the position

As the leading associate pastor in Gustav Adolf Parish, you are the leader for four priests. Your duties include planning, scheduling, and usual priestly tasks such as services, church ceremonies, pastoral care, and teaching. You will be part of the parish's management group and the deanery's Leadership Forum.

Qualifications

We are looking for a leading associate pastor who is responsible, has an open view of people, and enjoys working with a trust-based leadership style. We also wish that you have theologically reflective leadership, the ability to delegate, and that you have great trust in your employees. You are a good administrator who likes structure, order, and clarity. Since our parish hosts different church traditions, it is important that you are open and receptive to this and see it as a gift and asset.

Previous experience of similar leadership tasks is given great weight. Leadership training and a qualifying parish priest education are meritorious.

Gustav Adolf Parish is one of three parishes in the Church of Sweden Helsingborg. The parish has about 30 employees. We have a rich worship life with different types of services in our four different churches. A well-developed voluntary work culture, especially in Sinnesromässan, extensive diaconal work, and an ongoing development project within education for children and young people. We are in an exciting process where we are testing new working methods based on a changed external environment.
