About the role

We are currently seeking a Nursing Teacher/Development Manager specializing in education who wishes to contribute to strengthening quality, participation, and competence within our operations. Here, you will have a meaningful and developmental assignment where you make a real difference, both for employees and for the individuals we serve.

As a Nursing Teacher/Development Manager within support services for people with disabilities, you will take on an important role in a new position created as part of our initiative for development, learning, and sustainable competence supply. Here, you will have the opportunity to shape future working methods within support, care, and nursing together with engaged colleagues.

In this role, you will work both strategically and close to operations with education, supervision, and the development of pedagogical working methods. You will plan and conduct both practical and theoretical educational initiatives within support, care, and nursing based on the intentions of the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), SoL (Social Services Act), and HSL (Health and Medical Services Act), where the individual's self-determination, integrity, participation, and opportunity to live like others are at the center.

Through competence development, you will contribute to strengthening employees' ability to provide individually adapted support of high quality, where the individual's needs, resources, and rights are guiding. You will support, supervise, and coordinate employees with educational assignments and participate in creating and developing a sustainable educational organization within the department.

The assignment also includes contributing to equality in the treatment and execution of care and support, developing and quality-assuring introductions for new employees, and quality-assuring and developing working methods and techniques. You will work pedagogically to support the implementation of new working methods and, together with a colleague, be responsible for the infection prevention and control work within the department.

The department is in an exciting phase of development where we are building method rooms to create better opportunities for operation-close learning, competence development, and systematic methods. Here, you will have a varied and meaningful assignment with good opportunities to influence and contribute to a workplace characterized by learning, collaboration, and participation.

About you

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and have a vocational teacher's degree, as well as experience in pedagogical work. It is meritorious if you have experience of teaching within care and support as well as skills and simulation training.

To succeed in the role, it is desirable that you have good knowledge of LSS, SoL, and HSL. You have basic IT skills, as documentation and communication take place digitally. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

You are confident in your communication and have the ability to convey information and ideas in a clear and adapted manner depending on the recipient and situation. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and have the courage to make your own decisions within the framework of the assignment.
