We are looking for you who can work between 95 to 100% during weeks 24 to 33. There is also an opportunity for continued work after the summer.

About Us

Solbacken Omsorg provides housing and day activities for adults with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum conditions according to the LSS Act (Act regarding Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Since 1988, we have worked with autism and autism-like conditions where our approach is based on clarifying pedagogy, structure, and respectful treatment. Our goal is to create a safe, predictable, and developmental daily life for every user.

About the Job

As habilitation staff, you are an important part of the user's daily life. You help, support, and motivate people in their daily lives, which makes the work varied and meaningful. Duties may include, among other things:

• providing support and guidance in everyday situations such as personal hygiene, meals, and household chores
• motivating and supporting users in developing and maintaining their skills
• participating in and facilitating cultural and leisure activities

The work takes place primarily in a group home and usually in a team. Working hours vary and include evenings, sleeping on-call shifts, and weekends.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are responsible, sensitive, and engaged. You have a genuine interest in people and the ability to put yourself in others' situations. You are confident in yourself, can work independently, and enjoy collaborating with others.

It is an advantage if you have experience with LSS, care, or social services, as well as Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), but previous experience is not a requirement. Personal suitability and commitment are most important. A manual driver's license (Category B) is desirable.
