Do you want to help develop the future of culture for the elderly in Halland?

Region Halland is investing in strengthening equal access to culture for the elderly through new working methods and increased collaboration across the county. We are now looking for a coordinator who will create and coordinate cultural tour circuits for special housing facilities and meeting places throughout Halland.

The assignment is based on Region Halland's work with culture for the elderly and involves developing and coordinating tours with professional cultural creators in various art forms, in close collaboration with municipal elder care services. The focus is on making culture accessible to elderly people who cannot reach cultural offerings on their own. The offerings must be relevant to the target group and adapted to the conditions of elder care.

In this role, you will work closely with municipalities, cultural creators, institutions, and other partners in Halland. You are responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of tour circuits to special housing facilities and meeting places for the elderly.

About the Assignment

The work includes, among other things:

• Planning and coordinating tours and cultural programs throughout Halland
• Building and developing relationships with municipalities, cultural creators, and other actors
• Contributing to a varied cultural offering with high artistic quality
• Ensuring the offering meets the target group's needs and conditions
• Working with follow-up, development, and quality assurance of the operations
• Contributing to the development of sustainable and efficient working methods within culture for the elderly
• Administrative work regarding contracts, invoicing, etc.

The role contains both strategic and operational parts and suits you if you thrive on combining development work with practical production and coordination.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant higher education in culture, elder care, project management, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
• Experience working with the target group of the elderly, social sustainability, or other experience deemed equivalent by the employer
• Experience in tour planning and logistics
• Experience in collaboration between different actors and organizations
• Good administrative skills and habit of working in a structured manner
• Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience working in the public sector
• Knowledge of the cultural field and the conditions for professional cultural creators

As a person, you are proactive, relationship-building, and solution-oriented. You have a good ability to drive work forward together with others and can switch between a strategic perspective and practical implementation.
