About the Role

Movant (adult education) in Jönköping needs to expand its staff with a vocational teacher who will primarily lead the education for our students who have chosen to train as tilers (tile setters).

It is meritorious if you are already a certified vocational teacher, but it is not a requirement. You can work with us as an uncertified teacher, but it is a requirement that you are experienced and qualified (with a vocational certificate) in the tiling profession.

In our operations, we work flexibly across vocational tracks and support each other during peak times. We are looking for you who have broad competence within the construction sector, are fearless and driven, and who, outside of your specific profession, can also be helpful to your teaching colleagues in other educational areas, such as carpentry (carpenters) and painting.

In addition to your specific focus on tiling, you will be responsible for the basic training within Construction. This means you will also provide basic training for carpenters and painters, giving these students a broad foundation that is needed before they proceed with their specific vocational focus.

You will work with people, so you should have high social competence and an interest in teaching, communicating, and developing. We are looking for you who

• Have a vocational certificate as a tiler.
• Have experience teaching adults. Not a requirement, but meritorious.
• Have the ability to adapt teaching to each participant's needs.
• Have the competence to explain theories and guide practical moments.
• Have good computer skills. We live in a digital world where most of our educational material is available and documentation is done digitally.

It is meritorious if you hold a teaching certificate or other pedagogical experience. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Employment Type
Permanent employment with an initial six-month probationary period.
