Bjärnum School is looking for a special needs teacher who wants to contribute to student development and play a key role in our upper secondary school health services.

Your role
As a special needs teacher for grades 7–9, you will:
- Work preventively and promotively to support students in need of special assistance.
- Conduct pedagogical assessments and investigations.
- Collaborate with teachers, guardians, and the student health team.
- Contribute to the school's development of inclusive practices and accessible learning environments.
- Provide guidance and professional development for colleagues.
We are looking for someone who
- Has a degree in special needs education.
- Has a good ability to build trusting relationships with students and colleagues.
- Is solution-focused and sees opportunities in challenges.
- Is structured and has good planning and documentation skills.
- Is highly committed to every student's right to learn.
- Has experience working with students in need of special assistance, preferably in primary school.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the police register) must be presented prior to employment. The position is subject to appropriate decisions being made.

About us
The Child and Education Department is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, upper secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together to create a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and reach their full potential. The department's task is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations, as well as work for coordination between school and working life.
Bjärnum School is a preschool-to-grade 9 school, which together with Mala School forms a principal's area. Bjärnum School has approximately 360 students in preschool to grade 9. The leadership consists of the principal and two assistant principals.
The school is located about a 15-minute drive north of Hässleholm. There are also good train and bus connections to Bjärnum, where the school is within walking distance from the station.
