About the role

Mycronic is a Swedish global high-tech company with the vision of being the most reliable partner to the creators of tomorrow's electronics. Our innovative solutions have developed and manufactured machines for electronics and display manufacturing for over 50 years. We continue to grow within an expanding range of industries, and the Pattern Generator (PG) division holds a unique position in the market as the world's leading supplier of laser-based mask writers for the production of photomasks. These masks are used in the manufacturing of high-resolution displays and microprocessors. All high-resolution displays produced in large volumes – whether it's TVs, phones, tablets, Apple Watches, or similar – have Mycronic's machines as a critical part of the manufacturing process.

As a Finance Assistant within the PG division, you will belong to a small team of three colleagues: a Business Controller, a Business Control Lead, and the Head of Finance PG. You will collaborate closely with the entire team. In addition to your immediate team, you will have extensive contact areas throughout the organization, from R&D to production, procurement, and Corporate Finance, both nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities

This role is for you if you thrive in an international environment and in a dynamic position with varied tasks where you take significant responsibility. You will work in a broad administrative role focused on relieving the team of operational and administrative finance-related tasks and contributing to increased structure, data quality, and efficiency in the division's financial work.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Financial administration
  • Maintaining systems and ensuring data structure
  • Updating and quality-assuring data in various databases
  • Reviewing purchase orders
  • Reviewing investment applications
  • Contributing to closing processes (e.g., updating reports and reporting packages)
  • Creating and compiling reports
  • Preparing supporting documents for accounting and reviewing accounting data
  • Documenting processes and working methods

Additionally, we are looking for someone who…

  • Is studying economics, industrial economics, finance, or a similar field at the university level
  • Has at least 1.5 years remaining of studies – i.e., graduating no earlier than the turn of 2027/2028
  • Has good skills in Excel
  • Has very good skills in English, both spoken and written

It is considered meritorious if you have…

  • Knowledge of Swedish
  • Experience with data management and data visualization
  • Experience from a customer- or service-oriented role

  • Scope: Part-time, approx. 20–40 %
