About Hultskolan

Hultskolan is a beautifully located school in Albert Engström's hometown, approximately one mile east of Eksjö town center. In the vicinity of the school, you will find the church, the Albert Engström House, and varied nature. Within cycling distance, you will find Försjön and Movänta camping, a beautiful swimming and recreation area. The school operates activities within preschool class, primary school grades 1-6, and after-school center. There are approximately 40 students enrolled in the after-school center 'Vargen' and about 90 students at the school.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for primary school teachers with a focus on after-school centers who have subject competence in music or art, and who are passionate about the after-school center and creating a meaningful leisure time for the students at 'Vargen' after-school center. During the school day, you will collaborate with the school in the way that best suits your competence. Great importance is placed on you having a sustainable position where you have energy for the after-school center's "prime time" afternoons.

As a primary school teacher in the after-school center, your task is to create situations where students succeed, together with your colleagues. You are responsible for planning, teaching, documenting, and following up on education based on our steering documents, grounded in the students' need for support and challenges.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a primary school degree with a focus on after-school centers. Applicants with other pedagogical qualifications or experience may be considered, but experience in after-school center work is advantageous. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You have good knowledge of the national steering documents for after-school center activities and are confident in your relations with students, colleagues, and guardians. You want to take responsibility together with colleagues to create a meaningful leisure time with the students' interests in focus.

You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You start from the equal value of all people and create a good atmosphere in interactions. You gain energy from contributing to others' learning and you create conditions for learning to take place. With your commitment, you create motivation, and each student is met based on their prerequisites; you have good knowledge of people's different abilities to absorb knowledge.

With a positive attitude, you base your work on the student's ability to develop socially and academically in your collaboration with other teacher categories at the school. You have clear communication, understand the importance of being a team player, and contribute with a positive spirit. You are flexible, proactive, and have a solution-oriented operational focus with the student's development and best interests in focus.
