Recruitment: Educator for Rainbow's After-School Center, Sockerbruksskolan

The adapted primary school's after-school center is located at Sockerbruksskolan in Ängelholm. Approximately 40 of our 80 students have a place at the after-school center. Our combined after-school center is called "Regnbågens fritids" (Rainbow's After-School). We have four departments: Yellow, Green, Purple, and Blue.

Job Responsibilities

Together with the after-school coordinator, you will be responsible for the pedagogical activities at the adapted primary school's after-school center. Your tasks include working with children in groups and planning pedagogical activities. You will be part of a work team and collaborate with special education teachers, educators, and student assistants. You will work closely with the school administration, the after-school coordinator, and other staff at the school's after-school center.

Qualifications

You have good insight and knowledge of the governing documents for schools and after-school centers and apply them in your daily work. You are creative and can adapt your approach, pedagogical methods, and techniques based on the needs of individual students or student groups. You develop pedagogical activities to be fun, inspiring, and challenging.

We expect you to view each student from a holistic perspective and have a positive attitude towards students. You build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are organized and can structure activities for the adapted primary school's after-school center.

You have pedagogical education focused on after-school care and have experience and interest in developing the adapted primary school's after-school center. It is an advantage if you have education in special pedagogy, clarifying pedagogy, and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication/TAKK).

You are proficient with computers and have experience using IT in your teaching. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is essential.
