At Centio, we are looking for an experienced and independent accountant who can take primary responsibility for the company's ongoing accounting and financial administration from day one.

This role involves replacing our current accounting firm in the daily accounting work. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is confident in the accounting process, works independently, and can handle accounting correctly from daily bookkeeping to reconciliations, VAT, reporting, and preparation for the annual accounts.

The position is part-time as needed, with the possibility of working from our office in Vällingby or remotely.

Job Description

As an accountant at Centio, you will have independent responsibility for the ongoing financial administration and for ensuring that accounting is handled correctly, structured, and on time.

You will work closely with the company's management and play a central role in the company's financial function. This role suits you if you are detail-oriented, responsible, and accustomed to taking ownership of the entire or major parts of the accounting flow.

The role covers accounting for a small group consisting of approximately four companies, where primarily one company is active at present. This means that the work will mainly be linked to the active company, but you will also need to be able to handle basic financial administration and reconciliations for the other companies as needed.

Examples of tasks:

• Daily bookkeeping
• Independent responsibility for payroll
• Accounts receivable and payable
• Invoice management
• Reconciliation of bank accounts, tax accounts, and balance accounts
• Handling of receipts, expenses, and corporate cards
• VAT reporting
• Employer declarations and tax declarations
• Monthly reconciliations and reporting to management
• Preparation of materials for monthly closing, annual accounts, and audit
• Contact with auditors and other external parties as needed
• Development and improvement of routines within finance and accounting

Requirements

• Several years of experience in ongoing accounting and payroll administration
• Very good understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, VAT, and taxes
• Experience in independently responsible for accounting
• Ability to take responsibility for the entire accounting flow from start
• Good structure, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Good computer skills and experience with financial systems
• Experience with monthly closing, annual accounts, and audit
• Experience working with accounting in group companies
