Within the Care and Social Services Department, full-time employment is the norm. This means that all permanent employees are fundamentally employed on a full-time basis. Our operations are an LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) residence located in a natural setting in Danmarks by, targeting younger people with dementia. The residence consists of seven places and offers 24/7 staffing. All residents have decisions under LSS 9:9, which means housing with special services where each person has their own adapted apartment as well as access to common areas for social interaction and activities. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues and other professions, focusing on creating a secure and individually adapted daily life.

We are looking for two people for night shifts at our facility. One position is 75 %, where you work awake nights equivalent to 32.20 hours per week according to a rolling schedule. The other position is a 100 % night shift, also involving awake night work according to a rolling schedule.

Description of duties

As a support assistant, you work closely with the residents and support them in daily life, both in the person's home and outside. The work is always based on the individual's needs, interests, and implementation plan with the goal of creating a secure and meaningful existence. In this role, you help with nursing care and support with daily chores such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, and other household tasks. You plan and carry out activities and support users in their daily lives to promote participation, independence, and a meaningful leisure time. You are also responsible for medication management, documentation in the medical journal, and have ongoing contact with healthcare personnel, relatives, representatives, and other key figures in the user's network.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are trained as a nurse assistant (undersköterska) with a protected professional title, or alternatively have education as a childcare worker (barnskötare)
• Have experience working in dementia care or elderly care
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Are accustomed to documentation and feel confident documenting in the journal according to current routines and guidelines
• Knowledge of the documentation system Lifecare is meritorious.

As a person, you are flexible and adapt easily to changing circumstances, where you can quickly adjust both your mindset and work style and see opportunities in change. At the same time, you are stable and maintain your composure even in stressful situations, with the ability to focus on the right things and act in a controlled manner with a realistic perspective. You are proactive, take responsibility, and drive the work forward by initiating activities and ensuring results. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills, where you relate to others in a listening and smooth manner, communicate clearly, and contribute to resolving any challenges or disagreements in a constructive way.
