We are looking for you who have previous experience working as a class teacher. At our school, we work together to increase our shared vision, improve the student's learning environment, and continuously develop our teaching. You who apply are secure, stable, and low-affective in stressful situations. You build relationships with students and colleagues and have good contact with guardians. You are a good leader in the classroom, creating peace and order through clear structure.

We consider it natural that you are accustomed to working with the children's needs at the center and teaching in a way that allows all children to participate. You are used to working digitally and master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

You will be part of a work team where collaboration and engagement are important. It is important that you can express yourself simply, well-formulated, and engaged in individual meetings as well as in small and large groups.

In this position, it is important to be independent, collegial, and have a positive attitude in your work, as well as working according to the organization's goals. The position includes teaching in grades F-6 (Preschool Class to Grade 6).

Responsibilities

We are looking for you who want to take responsibility as a class teacher and be part of all tasks at the smaller school. In the position, you work as a teacher in a class, but work in other classes and at the after-school center may also occur. The school's format requires a flexible way of working and the ability to easily shift focus based on the needs of the day.

You organize and plan your work well, work according to a clear process, and finish what you start. You set timeframes and meet deadlines. You have contact and collaborate with guardians as well as other actors outside the school and inform guardians about the students' development. Through systematic quality work, you work to ensure that set goals are met.

Qualifications

  • Licensed teacher with eligibility for grades F-3 and/or 4-6.
  • Broad eligibility is meritorious.
  • Mastery of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
  • Documented knowledge and experience within NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders).
  • Courses, education, and experience within NPD.
  • Experience in collegial work.
  • Experience working with children with special needs.
  • Experience in teaching and working in teams.
  • Experience working with adaptations in the classroom and for children with special needs.
  • Ability to see the benefits of having multiple teachers/resources in the room and to interact with other teachers, after-school staff, student health team, management, and our flexible activities.

  • Driver's license and access to a car.
