Vartoftaskolan is located south of Falköping in the community of Vartofta, close to nature. The school has approximately 150 students, from preschool class up to grade 6.

Vartoftaskolan has recently undergone renovation and expansion with modern and flexible learning environments. An sports hall is located directly adjacent to the school.

What can we offer you?

We offer a fixed-term part-time position as a student assistant for the autumn term 2026, with a possibility of extension. We prefer that you have a basic education as an assistant nurse (undersköterska). Depending on your competence, previous experience, and the needs of the operation, the content and scope of work can be discussed. Further information will be provided during the interview.

What are we looking for in you?

We prioritize both learning and the development of social competence in our students. The school's and after-school center's guiding principles are Safety, Participation, and Learning (TDL). We have good access to digital tools and other aids to meet the needs of all students for optimal learning. The school values cooperation and joy within and between the work teams for grades F–3 and 4–6, as well as the after-school center. In student health work, we use the EHM model (Student Health Meeting), which contributes to everyone's participation in working with our students.

We are looking for an engaged and enthusiastic student assistant or educator. As a person, you are structured and have a good ability to organize and plan activities around your student. You enjoy working collegially and in teams to develop students' abilities and knowledge, and you have a good ability to build relationships with students and guardians. Experience working with picture support and digital aids is meritorious. Experience working with ASD/NPF (Autism Spectrum Disorder/Neurodevelopmental Disorders) is also meritorious. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position may potentially be filled internally if an excess of competence is identified within the organization, in which case the recruitment process will be discontinued.

A new school organization is currently being created in Falköping Municipality, and we are making significant investments in our preschools and schools – both in rural areas and in the town.
