Radio Fyris is an opinion-forming web radio and a day activity center. Every week we produce programs in a variety of areas, including sports, news, video games, and celebrity gossip.

This is a part-time position on an as-needed basis. Work shifts are offered based on the operational needs and may vary over time. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:00.

Description of Duties
At Radio Fyris Day Activity Center, a group of reporters works on writing scripts, conducting research, and recording programs.
As a support assistant, you are there to support each individual with what they need. This can involve supporting them in the process of creating the radio program, but also motivating them to participate in activities or assisting with physical needs.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a high school diploma. If you also have additional training in technology, we view this as an advantage. You must have good command of Swedish, both spoken and written. Previous experience working with individuals under the LSS Act (Act of Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) is an advantage. We would also appreciate if you have worked in fields such as nursing, as a contact person, escort, or in the school sector.

The role requires an interest in technology and good knowledge of audio engineering. Experience recording radio or podcasts is advantageous, as is knowledge of programs such as Adobe Audition and Audacity.

You have the ability to combine a professional attitude with a warm and welcoming approach, and you can adapt your behavior to the situation and the individual. You are flexible and quick to adjust when conditions change. With a solution-focused mindset, you see opportunities in change and can quickly adapt both your work methods and perspective. We also value your empathy – you can put yourself in others' situations and understand their needs, while maintaining your professional role.

Employment with Uppsala Municipality may involve being placed on the war establishment (krigsplacering).

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 11 days - 3 months.
