Tanumskolan is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) located in Tanumshede, the central town of Tanum Municipality. The school has approximately 500 students. Job Responsibilities

Our school is looking for an engaged teacher who enjoys planning inspiring lessons that spark students' curiosity and encourage personal development.

You will be part of one of two teaching teams at the school and will teach Swedish as a Second Language. There is another teacher at the school who also teaches Swedish as a Second Language.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

We are seeking a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Swedish as a Second Language in grades 7–9.

You are skilled at building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You can create engaging learning environments based on clear and structured leadership.

Personal suitability is of great importance.

What We Offer

A fixed-term position for the autumn term of 2026 at 50% employment, starting August 11, 2026.

In the absence of qualified applicants, it may become relevant to hire someone as an uncertified teacher on a temporary basis in accordance with the Education Act.
