Our client, a leading player in the care sector, is looking for an engaged Onsite IT Support specialist. You will work closely with the business operations to ensure the IT environment runs stably and efficiently.

About the role

As an Onsite IT Support specialist for our client, you will become a vital part of the IT organization and a key figure in ensuring that employees receive fast and professional on-site assistance. You will work closely with the business operations and contribute to the care company's ability to focus on what matters most – providing safe and high-quality care.

This is initially a consultancy assignment where you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant for our client. Read more about our consulting offer (#).

Responsibilities

The role involves providing technical support on-site and remotely to employees, as well as collaborating with the rest of the IT team to ensure smooth operation of our client's IT environment.

  • Act as second-line support for the internal service desk.
  • Provide on-site support to users at the office in Stockholm.
  • Manage permissions and accounts in Microsoft 365, Google Workplace, Citrix, and Azure.
  • Work efficiently in ticketing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computers, printers, networks, and other IT-related problems.
  • Install and configure computers, software, and peripheral equipment.
  • Support mobile devices such as iPhones and Android devices.

We are looking for you who

  • Have experience in IT support, service desk, or a similar role.
  • Have good knowledge of Windows environments and Office 365.
  • Have a basic understanding of networking.
  • Have experience working in ticketing systems.
  • Have good communication skills and the ability to explain technical solutions in a simple way.

It is an advantage if you have

  • A good understanding of the importance of IT security.
