We are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for a cheerful woman in her 30s. We are looking for someone who wants to become part of an assistant team dedicated to providing our client with the best possible support around the clock.

The woman has her own apartment in Kållered, from where the work is based. As an assistant, you will support the woman in her day activities (focused on drama/music/rhythm/social interaction), during her leisure time and various activities (including swimming, cycling, and horse riding), as well as at home with household chores and personal care. The workplace is wherever the client is, which may vary between her home, day activities, visits to relatives, etc.

In this role, together with the team leader and your colleagues, you will be responsible for the development and planning regarding alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), cognition, and structuring. Continuous training in communication is included in the position.

Who are you?
You are a mature, responsible, attentive, cheerful, and positive person. You are creative with a playful spirit but also structured. You enjoy being physically active, as it is important to inspire movement, and it is desirable that you, as a candidate, have an active lifestyle. You should have knowledge of sign language and picture communication, as the woman primarily communicates through signs, pictures, and some spoken words. If you lack knowledge but show interest, we will provide training. Communication and interaction are fundamental needs and a prerequisite for interpreting and meeting other needs in the role. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Education and/or work experience such as activity pedagog, support assistant, or similar, along with experience in AAC and cognition, is meritorious.

Other requirements for the position:
* You are a non-smoker.
* You must have full proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, considering the client's communication difficulties.
* You must hold a manual driver's license, as you will drive the client's car to her day activities and excursions.
* You must be able to participate in all activities, meaning you cannot have an allergy to chlorinated water or horses. You will also accompany her to day activities.

About the employment
The position is a fixed-term employment with a possibility of extension. The vacancy is for 87.5% and starts on September 24th, running until mid-April. Working hours are scheduled across days, evenings, nights, and weekends in a rotating schedule. We apply individual salary setting.
