About the Role

We are now looking for you who want to use your expertise in labor law and employer issues to make a real impact. Here, you will have a central role where you contribute to developing and strengthening HR work – both strategically and operationally – to enhance the region's employer policy.
As a negotiator, you will have a qualified and developmental assignment where you represent the employer in labor law negotiations and contribute to positions on employer policy issues within the framework of laws and agreements.
You will become part of the HR Strategy and Projects unit within the Executive Office of the Region. Here, you will work alongside dedicated colleagues such as HR strategists, project managers, and the Head of Negotiations – all with a common goal: to create professional, sustainable, and efficient HR processes throughout the organization. If needed, you will substitute for the Head of Negotiations in contacts with the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKR) and regional collaboration. You report directly to the HR Director and serve as an important expert support primarily for HR colleagues, but also for managers in the organization when required.
The position is a permanent full-time role, located at Regionens Hus in Härnösand. Start date is by agreement.
Responsibilities
In the role of negotiator, you will have a varied daily routine where you, among other things:
- Provide support and guidance based on the interpretation and application of labor legislation as well as central and local collective agreements
- Serve as expert support in labor law and employer policy matters within the region
- Conduct negotiations with trade unions on behalf of the employer
- Support HR consultants in rehabilitation processes
- Conduct labor law investigations
- Develop and produce policy documents within the subject area and other labor law fields
- Provide crucial support to your HR colleagues
- Contribute to the development of the region's HR work

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who
- Has a degree in Law or Human Resources Management with a specialization in labor law, and/or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent, combined with relevant work experience
- Has work experience in labor law negotiations as well as practical application and interpretation of laws and collective agreements
- Has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Has experience working in the public sector
It is meritorious if you
- Have experience working in the public sector
- Have good knowledge of relevant central collective agreements and General Provisions
