ABOUT THE POSITION At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for a flexible and responsible personal assistant for our client, who lives outside Falköping. This assignment is suitable for you if you want to work as a temporary substitute as needed – for example, when regular staff are absent due to illness, vacation, or other temporary reasons.

Working hours vary between weekdays and weekends and are distributed according to the following schedule:

• 07:30-23:00

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start your introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a woman in her 60s with dementia who uses a walker as a mobility aid in daily life. As a personal assistant in this assignment, you will help with daily routines such as household chores, personal hygiene, and assisting with meals.

The client enjoys crafts and has previously engaged in activities such as candle making, baking, and home repairs. These types of activities may also occur during your shifts as an assistant.

As a personal assistant, it is also important that you can maintain calm in different situations, while having the ability to lead conversations and create a safe and positive environment. Our client prefers female applicants, and we consider it an advantage if you have previous experience working as a personal assistant or in other care and social services that the employer deems equivalent.

REQUIREMENTS

• Driver's license/access to a car to get to and from work; public transport is not available.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

Employment level: Temporary substitute

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

Because the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of no criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
