ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for one of our clients residing in Stenungsund. As a personal assistant, you will work as an hourly substitute as needed, stepping in when regular staff is not present. There will also be a fixed-term contract for 2-4 weeks at approximately 80%.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

Weekdays:

• 16:00 - 19:00

• 19:00 - 05:00 awake night

• 19:00 - 08:00 awake night

Weekends:

• 06:00 - 13:00

• 13:00 - 20:00

• 20:00 - 06:00, awake night

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a 12-year-old girl with epilepsy and a developmental delay. She walks independently, but depending on her condition, a wheelchair may be used as relief during longer walks. To facilitate communication, she also uses picture support as an important aid.

As a personal assistant to this girl, you need to maintain constant supervision, with a special focus on being able to act quickly in the event of epileptic seizures. Your tasks will also include:

• Providing support in daily routines such as personal care and physiotherapy

• Actively participating in leisure activities, such as walks, swinging, and playing with other children

• Joining outings, swimming in the pool, or having coffee in town

Our client prefers female assistants and is looking for you who have a genuine desire to make a difference in another person's life. You are confident in yourself and have the ability to remain calm even in stressful or unexpected situations.

As a person, you are sensitive and have an easy time reading other people's needs, even when communication takes place in alternative ways. You are engaged, patient, and driven to create meaningful and fun activities in everyday life.

You need to be responsible and flexible, with a good ability to collaborate with both colleagues and relatives. It is important that you can adapt to the client's daily condition and meet both calm and more active moments with the same care and presence. Previous experience from similar work is meritorious, but great importance is placed on personal suitability. Our client prefers only female assistants.

REQUIREMENTS

• Not allergic to chlorine, able to swim, and able to participate in bathing

• Non-smoker

Employment level: Hourly substitute with work on demand.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will cover both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
