We are proud of Trollhättan Municipality's over 5,000 employees, who make a positive difference in the lives of our residents every day and contribute to developing the city's sustainability and vitality. We are driven and motivated by the keywords Courage, Participation, Innovation, and Action. Here you will find exciting developments where you can help make our city even better.
About the Role
Do you want to work with change processes where you make a real difference?
We are now looking for a stable and collaborative treatment secretary for the Youth Family Team Unit, part of the Preventive Measures and Interventions department.
Our mission is to offer qualified support and change work for young people and their families – with a focus on strengthening factors such as networks, school, and leisure activities to create sustainable changes over time. We take a holistic perspective and strive to offer the right intervention at the right time.
Our workplace is the Family House, centrally located in Trollhättan, where approximately 40 employees work in four teams. We are proud to be HBTQi-certified and work for an inclusive and safe working environment, both for those we meet and for each other.
Responsibilities
As a treatment secretary, you work on designing and implementing individually adapted interventions based on the needs of the young person and their family. The work includes both needs-assessed interventions and interventions without needs assessment.
With the new Social Services Act, we have strengthened opportunities to work early and preventively. You will therefore have the opportunity to develop working methods that reach families at an earlier stage.
Conversation is one of your most important tools and takes place both individually and together with colleagues. You actively work to involve and strengthen the network around the young person, where collaboration is a central part of the assignment.
We work systematically with follow-up through FIT (Feedback Informed Treatment). If necessary, drug and alcohol tests can be used as a complement to the treatment work.
Working hours are primarily during the day, with some evening duties.
What We Offer
We want you to thrive and develop with us. Therefore, we offer:
- Introduction with a mentor
- Continuous competence development
- Flexible working hours
- Wellness allowance and wellness hour
- Benefits via the staff association Rabatten
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- A degree in Social Work or another university education of at least 180 ECTS credits that the employer considers equivalent
- Experience in treatment work with young people and families
It is an advantage if you have experience in areas such as domestic violence, substance abuse, crime, mental illness, ADHD/Autism (NPF), or other social change work.
To succeed in the role, you need:
- The ability to create safety and build trust
- To be structured and have good documentation habits
- To be flexible and able to make decisions even in pressured situations
- To communicate clearly and work solution-focused
Personal suitability is given great weight.
A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
Selection and interviews may take place continuously during the advertising period.
