As an employee at Sanda Secondary School (Sanda Högstadium), you will be part of an exciting journey – shaping a new school. In the autumn of 2025, we moved into a completely newly built school that is growing gradually, meaning you will have the opportunity to leave your mark on the operations.

Your new job

Sanda Secondary School is a school for grades 7–9. We are currently looking for a teacher who can teach Swedish and preferably one additional subject during the autumn term of 2026. As a teacher at Sanda Secondary School, it is an advantage if you have an interest in sports, as a large portion of the students are admitted through a sports profile.

You will be part of a work team and participate in the team's joint work, contributing to a collegial collaboration that creates a good learning environment. You will also collaborate with other staff at the school and stay updated in your subject through environmental scanning, further education, and collegial learning. In addition to teaching at the secondary level, your role includes mentorship, and you are expected to be able to work with digital tools in your teaching.

The position is a temporary assignment during the autumn term, with the possibility of extension.

Welcome to us

Sanda Education Centre in Huskvarna consists of four different school forms: upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, adapted primary school, and secondary school (grades 7–9). Over 1,400 students study at Sanda Education Centre. Between these four school forms, we have close cooperation regarding staff and facilities.

The secondary school at Sanda has had a clear sports focus since its inception over 10 years ago, and we will continue with this focus as we grow. From the autumn term of 2025 in grade 7, we admit approximately half of the students from a catchment area and half through admission in special sports. Health and sports are part of our DNA, and we value sustainable health for both students and staff.

Your qualifications

You have the qualifications to teach grades 7–9 in Swedish and preferably one additional subject. You are also aware of the importance of adapting teaching to all students' needs and prerequisites, and you are willing to take responsibility for both your teaching and common issues at the school. A clear starting point in the work is always striving to create good relationships with the students. We see that you have the ability to work both independently and in a group, and that you are skilled at communicating with guardians, students, and school staff.

Before employing new staff for our teaching positions, we must ensure that there is a valid teaching license.
