Your Workplace

Your workplace is the Adult Investigation Unit, which is part of the Department of Social Work. The unit consists of three teams, and the team you will join is the LSS Team, which works with people with disabilities. The other teams' target groups are individuals with substance abuse issues and those requiring social psychiatric support.

We are an ambitious and knowledgeable group of employees led by an engaged unit manager and operations manager. We care about each other's work environment and professional development.

Job Responsibilities

Your duties will mainly consist of standard social investigation work and authority exercises. This involves working in a motivating manner, investigating, and assessing suitable support in cases for people with disabilities.

As an LSS Case Worker, you will participate in our well-established collaboration with service providers, as well as with other actors both within and outside the administration.

In your daily work, you will have support from colleagues and the operations manager. Initially, you will also receive support from a mentor who will guide you into your role.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a degree from the Social Work program, Social Care program, or another equivalent degree equivalent to at least 180 higher education credits as assessed by the employer. A requirement is that you have studied social law.

Experience with authority exercises within LSS/SoL is meritorious.

As a person, you work well with others and are accommodating and empathetic in your interactions. You create new contacts as well as maintain your current work relationships. You take responsibility and drive your work forward towards goals, deliver results, and prioritize your work effectively. You adapt to changed circumstances and see opportunities in change. You take initiative and often come up with new approaches to work-related issues.

In the role of Case Worker, high demands are placed on the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You are professional in your interactions with your immediate surroundings and skilled at maintaining your relationships.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability, where you should have a professional attitude and handle difficult conversations and decisions in a respectful manner. You take responsibility, can work independently, and have good teamwork skills, contributing to the work group with your experience and ideas. You are a communicative person who expresses yourself easily in speech and writing. Naturally, we also want you to enjoy challenges and problem-solving.

Furthermore, computer literacy and good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, are required. A Class B driver's license is a requirement.
