RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a skilled educator who is passionate about developing teaching and inspiring your colleagues at the same time? Then you might be the person we are looking for as a Lead Teacher for Lerbergsskolan. At Lerbergsskolan, we have an engaged team of lead teachers who drive pedagogical development on behalf of the school management. In this role, you will:

• Lead processes in both work groups and at the school level, and be part of the systematic quality work.
• We are looking for you who have particularly good knowledge and experience regarding early reading and writing acquisition.
• You should be able to engage and drive development. We would like you to have experience in being a process leader.
• In close consultation with the school management, you will have good conditions to plan, implement, and evaluate the development initiatives you are responsible for. Your efforts inspire your colleagues and contribute to higher goal achievement.

The main part of your position consists of teaching in grades F-3 (Preschool Class to Grade 3). You conduct varied, creative, and joyful teaching for our students, both individually and in teams. You find strategies to reach every student and contribute to increased goal achievement. You plan, assess, evaluate, and develop the pedagogical operations in accordance with the school's governing documents and systematic quality work. The Lead Teacher works at their own workplace but also has a municipality/administration-wide assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply are a certified teacher with broad eligibility for grades F-3, where eligibility in Swedish is particularly important. To be considered for the Lead Teacher assignment, you must be able to report at least four years of well-regarded work after graduation with teaching within the school system. We would like you to have experience mentoring other teachers and driving pedagogical development processes.

You develop your work based on evidence-based research and work effectively with relevant digital tools. You have a professional attitude and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and your colleagues at the school. To fit as a Lead Teacher with us, it is important that you have the ability to get others on board, you have good process competence and assignment orientation, and that you enjoy developing yourself as well as others.
