About the Role

As a personal assistant to our customer, you are more than practical support – you are an important person in his life. The assistance largely revolves around motivation, human presence, and gently helping the customer find rhythm and balance in their days. When the support is there, the customer can feel more involved, get a better daily rhythm, and feel better both physically and mentally.

The customer lives in Lindesberg Municipality and will turn 20 in the spring. We always work with two assistants, so it is important to be able to plan well together. The customer is a happy and social guy who enjoys doing activities but also values quiet days. It is important that you can meet him where he is on that specific day – sometimes there is more energy, sometimes less. For the customer, it is significant never to be left alone in passivity, but to receive support to find meaning and variation in daily life. Then, your way of being matters everything. With kind words, patience, and small encouraging steps, you help him get started – perhaps by starting the day together at a calm pace, suggesting a short walk, changing the environment for a while, or just being there and doing something simple together.

We are looking for you who are:

• Calm, secure, and attentive in your approach
• Motivating without being demanding
• Proactive and creative in suggesting activities
• Have experience working with individuals with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses

Employment Conditions

We are looking for you who have the opportunity to work both awake nights (21:00–08:00) and day shifts (08:00–21:00). Currently, we are primarily looking for a temporary hourly employee who can also take some fixed shifts on the schedule, with good opportunities to develop into a position of up to 100% in the long run.

We place great emphasis on personal chemistry, sense of responsibility, and your genuine commitment to contributing to a secure and meaningful everyday life. A driver's license for manual transmission is meritorious as a car is available for work.
