Job Description

We are looking for a driven teacher for clarinet instruction. We would appreciate it if you also have an interest in driving the development of clarinet teaching and the entire operations at the cultural school, as we work extensively with operational development and have a clear mandate to do so. Working hours are primarily scheduled in the afternoons and evenings, and some weekend work is required.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have music teacher education with clarinet as the main subject or other education that the employer considers equivalent. It is an advantage to have education in other woodwind instruments, orchestra conducting, or another subject within the cultural school.

Furthermore, you have experience in subject teaching at a cultural school and group instruction in instruments. It is an advantage to have experience in orchestra/ensemble teaching and experience in development work at a cultural school.

You are a person with great commitment who puts the students' development and interest at the center. You are self-motivated, driving, and take responsibility for your task, and you work well in a group. You are relationship-building, maintain relationships, and have good empathetic skills.

Malmö Cultural School is Sweden's third-largest cultural school, where children and young people have the opportunity to try out and develop within artistic expressions such as music, dance, theater, visual arts, and more during their leisure time.
