In Nora lives a seven-year-old boy who loves rock 'n' roll, swimming, and playing. He needs help in his daily life, and we are looking for a personal assistant who shares his interests. He has a carefree attitude towards life – especially if you turn up the stereo and play hard rock or jump into the water for a swim. Then life is really good!

Being a personal assistant is a responsible role. You become someone else's "arms and legs" and help with the things the person can no longer do themselves. This can involve anything from taking a walk to helping with dressing. Sometimes you cook or help the customer with showering and toilet visits, depending on the customer's needs.

This role suits you if you are responsible and have a genuine desire to help others. You are likely described as a person with a big heart who enjoys making sure others feel good. Our customer is an 8-year-old boy living in Nora. He is a positive and lovely person with a strong will and love for activities and fun. The boy has a congenital brain malformation that has caused cerebral palsy. He needs help with his entire daily routine and active stimulation. He requires assistance with all personal care, and his meals are administered via a feeding tube (PEG). He also has epilepsy.

As an assistant, you will help with personal hygiene, dressing, and other personal needs. You will participate in training, walks, and other activities the customer attends. You will also help with household chores such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.

To succeed in this role, we believe you are engaged, positive, and proactive. You likely have good physical fitness, enjoy speed and action, and like activities such as going to the playground, swimming, or taking long walks. You have the ability to take initiative and work independently, but you must also be able to read your surroundings as you will be working within a family.

We believe that as an assistant, you have prior experience working with children with functional variations.

We are looking for staff for a scheduled shift during the period May 3 – August 31, as well as substitutes.

Working hours:

• Weekends: 08:00–18:00
• Weekday evenings: approx. 16:00–19:00

During weeks 28, 29, 30, and 31, the assistance is scheduled between 08:00–18:00.

Having a car and driver's license is an advantage, as is previous experience working with children with special needs.

We have a collective agreement, individual salary setting, and wellness benefits of up to 4,000 SEK/year.
