About the role

As a Junior Accountant, you will become an integral part of our client's Finance team in Stockholm. This is a unique opportunity for you who want to gain valuable practical experience and develop in a fast-paced environment. You will work in a supportive team where colleagues are always on hand to guide you, but where you also get to take individual responsibility and grow.

The assignment starts in June and runs through the summer. For the right person, there are excellent opportunities for extension, making this a perfect springboard into working life!

Responsibilities

You will support the finance department with daily financial processes. Your main tasks include:

• Handling and processing supplier and customer accounts (invoicing, payments, etc.).
• Ongoing administration and support to the team during month-end closing.
• Contributing to developing and maintaining good structure in daily financial processes.
• Administering travel expenses and expense management.

We are looking for someone who

• Has an ongoing or recently completed post-secondary education in economics, accounting, or equivalent.
• Has some form of previous work experience in economics, administration, or service.
• Has very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as a good understanding of English, as the company operates in an international environment.
• Has knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience working with Fortnox.
