Description

Sylte School is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) where Trollhättan's adapted primary school is integrated. We work from a common holistic perspective, value base, and approach to ensure strong leadership in the classrooms. Clear routines and adaptation of teaching are guiding stars in our operations. We see diversity as an asset and inclusion as a matter of course. Many different nationalities are represented in our operations, and in our teaching groups, we teach students based on different curricula. Our ambition is to constantly develop ourselves and our operations with the goal of increasing students' goal fulfillment, both academically and socially. Job Responsibilities

Do you want to make a difference – for real? We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher in Swedish and Social Studies for grades 7–9 and who are passionate about creating teaching where all students are given the conditions to succeed.

As a teacher with us, you will:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in Swedish and Social Studies, as well as work with clear leadership structures, formative assessment, and adaptations that benefit the whole group.
• You will contribute actively to collegial learning and development in the subject team. Your work as a mentor is important for creating safe relationships with students and guardians. To succeed in creating a health-promoting school, we expect teachers to collaborate closely with student health services and other professions to strengthen students' learning and well-being.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have a teaching license with qualifications in Swedish and Social Studies for grades 7–9.
• Believe in the school's compensatory mission and have a solution-focused and curious attitude.
• See clear expectations, leadership, and relationship-building as the foundation of teaching.
• Are confident in adapting and varying teaching so that more students reach the goals.

The position is permanent, contingent on teaching license and sought-after competence.
