ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Trollhättan. The position is a summer temporary assignment covering approximately 80% and involves work according to a fixed schedule. Working hours are scheduled on both weekdays and weekends. Weekend work is included every other weekend.

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a cheerful 9-year-old boy who uses a wheelchair and has extensive care needs. As a personal assistant, you will support him in all aspects of daily life. Duties include, among other things, help with daily routines and occasional household chores, personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and meals.

Furthermore, he loves bathing, walking in his walker, listening to music, and laughing together. As an assistant, you will therefore facilitate play and activity at his pace and according to his needs.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for you who are responsible, receptive, and self-assured, with the ability to see and understand the individual's needs. You are flexible, easy to cooperate with, and thrive in close collaboration with both the client and colleagues. The work involves assisting with transfers, which requires you to be physically capable. Experience in similar work is advantageous, but we place the greatest emphasis on personal suitability, commitment, and a positive attitude.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Kura Omsorg, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and/or submit a personal certificate (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both an extract from the criminal record and an extract from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
