About the role

As a controller, you will support managers and employees in the organization with issues related to budgeting, follow-up, business planning, and more. You are responsible for handling controller-related matters and ensuring that departments receive support in their planning work. Your responsibilities include, among other things, reporting processes for finance and business follow-up.

You report to the agency's Chief Financial Officer and work independently in close collaboration with other employees in the unit. In your role, you also collaborate with other managers and employees across different parts of the organization, as well as coordinating with the unit's other controllers.

About you

We are therefore looking for you who are proactive and willing to take responsibility for driving the work forward. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working with others. It is important that you are resilient and flexible, as the agency is in a dynamic period of change with new tasks and mandates. You are goal- and results-oriented and driven by achieving clear results. You work in a structured manner and maintain focus on the goal throughout the entire process. In this role, you will have many points of contact, and we assume that you enjoy providing service.

What we are looking for:

• An academic degree in a relevant field (at least 180 hp or 120 p according to the previous system) or equivalent work experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• Current multi-year work experience as a controller, including work with budgeting, follow-up, and forecasting.
• Current work experience in writing and preparing various types of follow-up reports such as quarterly and monthly reports or other written documents.
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Merits:

• Current work experience in roles where you support operations, either in an internal support function or as a consultant.
• Work experience leading the work on producing the operational sections of the annual report for a government agency.
• Work experience handling various types of processes such as risk management and internal control.
