We are now looking for a personal assistant for a woman in her 50s diagnosed with ALS, residing in Örebro. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to work closely with an individual and contribute to increased quality of life, security, and independence in her daily life.

As a personal assistant, you are responsible for providing support in daily activities based on the user's individual needs. Duties include, but are not limited to, personal care, assistance with mobility, intimate hygiene, handling of assistive devices (such as a cough machine), motor training, and support with various activities. The work takes place in her home as well as in other environments where she spends time.

Working hours are scheduled during the day and evening, both on weekdays and every other weekend. The work is largely performed with double staffing. We view it positively if you have the possibility to work flexibly and can step in with short notice when needed, for example, in case of sick leave.

You will be part of a work group where collaboration and responsibility are central. Therefore, it is important that you have a strong work ethic, are flexible, and contribute to a functioning team. Availability during the summer and holiday periods is desirable.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role, has a professional attitude, and the ability to work independently. You are flexible and can adapt to changing circumstances. Furthermore, you have good documentation skills and a genuine interest in working with people within the care sector.

As a person, you are calm, patient, responsible, and have a positive approach. You have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as clear communication is an important part of the job. Experience in personal assistance or similar work within healthcare and social care is an advantage.
