Thanks to increased resources and new opportunities in operations, we are now strengthening our team. We are looking for four preschool teachers who want to continue developing the preschool operations with us. Bjärke preschools are located in the northern part of Alingsås municipality and have five preschools in the area: Gräfsnäs Preschool, Magra Preschool, Rävlyan Preschool, Sollebrunn Preschool, Stora Mellby, and an Open Preschool. Here, you will work in a vibrant countryside with close proximity to nature and opportunities to develop learning environments and teaching outdoors.

Although our preschools are located in different places, we are united by a strong sense of community and a genuine feeling of working together – something we are very proud of. With us, we are always there for each other, regardless of which preschool we belong to.

The team also includes three primary schools, where we principals see great value in working with children/students from a 1–16-year perspective.

Positions we are looking for

• Stora Mellby – Full-time (100%), permanent employment. The preschool consists of three departments distributed in different buildings, with close and good cooperation between them. We are looking for you who are sensitive to children's needs and interests and who want to contribute to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed in their learning.
• Gräfsnäs – Full-time (100%), fixed-term until autumn 2026 with possibility of extension. The preschool has two departments where we work to create a "whole-house thinking" approach with teaching groups from both departments. We are looking for you who are driven by building new structures and thrive in an operation under development.
• Rävlyan – Full-time (100%), fixed-term until autumn 2026 with possibility of extension. In this position, you work at all preschools in Bjärke and function as the team's reliable substitute, with a primary placement at Rävlyan. We are looking for you who thrive in a flexible work environment and appreciate meeting new children and colleagues daily. A category B driver's license and access to a car are required.
• Sollebrunn Preschool – Part-time (60%) with possibility of full-time, fixed-term until autumn 2026 with possibility of extension. The preschool has three departments and is located adjacent to the school, close to the library, sports hall, and forest. The position is 60%, but there is an opportunity to supplement with hourly substitute work up to full-time. Part of the position involves working closely with a child with special needs.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher with us, you are an important part of the work team, responsible for both education and teaching. You have a natural ability to create security and spread joy, and you always ensure the needs and well-being of each individual child are met. You are driven by seeing children grow and learn new things, adapt pedagogy to the right level, and see opportunities where others see obstacles. You gladly share new ideas and have a genuine drive to develop yourself, your colleagues, and the operations.

The preschools in Bjärke belong to Team North, where we meet the children based on their needs and interests. We see language development as one of the most important foundations for lifelong learning, and together with your colleagues, you will encourage children's learning and language development in a varied and playful way.

We place great emphasis on cooperation, and you as a preschool teacher play an important role in the work team. You will be involved in and take responsibility for both the operations as a whole and the teaching.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have a completed preschool teacher education.
• Are familiar with the preschool curriculum, Lpfö 18, rev. 25
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing
• Hold a category B driver's license.

You have a natural ability to create security, spread joy, and see the needs of each individual child. For you, the well-being and security of the children are always in focus. You like development and are driven by seeing children grow and learn new things. You are sensitive and gladly adapt pedagogy to challenge them at the right level.

At the same time, you have a drive to develop yourself, your colleagues, and our operations. You see opportunities instead of obstacles and gladly share new ideas.
