The department is responsible for education from preschool to adult education and runs a unique house for young people's active leisure time.

Your Role

You will be responsible for teaching English and Swedish as a Second Language (Sv2) at the introductory programs. This includes planning, implementation, follow-up, evaluation, and development of teaching. You will also serve as a support and resource in other subjects. ICT is an integrated part of your daily work.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a confident and clear pedagogical leader in the classroom. You are creative, think outside the box, and take initiatives that contribute to the development of teaching.

You are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach English and Swedish as a Second Language for grades 7–9 in compulsory school.

You are an engaged and relationship-building person who wants to become a significant adult figure for our students on the introductory programs. With an open mindset, you can see things from different perspectives and meet students based on their individual needs. You have an easy time creating and building trusting and respectful relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Certified teacher with the qualification to teach English and Swedish as a Second Language in grades 7–9.
• Be a confident pedagogical leader.
• Good ability to plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on current steering documents.
• Good ability to adapt teaching based on students' different needs and prerequisites.

Personal suitability is given great weight.

Employment Terms

The position is permanent, full-time (100%), with an start date of August 7, 2027.
