Our client, an established company in the meat industry with a global presence and offices in Nacka, is looking for a driven Accounts Payable Assistant. They offer a flat organization where collaboration and an unpretentious attitude are valued, with good opportunities for development. About the role
We are looking, on behalf of one of our clients, for an Accounts Payable Assistant working 75%. As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will have primary responsibility for the accounts payable function and its processes, as well as supporting accounts receivable when needed. You will work with ongoing bookkeeping and contribute to maintaining order and structure within the finance department. This is a key role where you will have the opportunity to grow and eventually take on financial responsibility for a subsidiary.
This is a consultancy assignment where you will be employed by Academic Work and work on behalf of our client. We are looking for someone who can start the assignment immediately and work 75%. You are welcome to work most of the summer, but there is also the possibility of a few weeks of vacation if desired. Our client's office is located in Nacka/Sickla, where you are expected to work on-site on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. This is a long-term assignment where we will initially sign a six-month contract, but our client intends to hire permanently in the long run, provided both parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will handle a large volume of supplier invoices, ensure correct bookkeeping and payment processing, and contribute to the efficiency of financial processes. The role also involves supporting accounts receivable and participating in the closing process.
- Responsible for accounts payable and related administrative processes.
- Register and handle supplier invoices in the ERP system.
- Handle payment files and payment administration in various currencies and companies.
- Ongoing bookkeeping of incoming and outgoing payments.
- Handle and follow up on discrepancies within accounts payable.
- Act as backup and, if necessary, independently handle accounts receivable.
- Participate in account reconciliations and closing work within assigned areas.
We are looking for someone who
- Has completed upper secondary education.
- Has experience in broad financial work with a focus on accounts payable and ongoing bookkeeping.
- Has very good knowledge of Swedish and good skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Has good knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel.
It is an advantage if you have
- Experience with account reconciliations.
- Experience with the ERP system Jeeves.
- Experience from companies with high transaction volumes, preferably within trade, import, or food.
